DÚN DO SHÚILE
Dún do shúil' a rún mo chroí,
A chuid de'n tsaol sa ghrá liom.
Dún do shúil' a rún mo chroí,
Is gheobhair féirín amárach.

Beidh do Dhaid a' teacht gan mhoill ón gcnoc
Agus cearca fraoích na láimh leis.
Ó codl’ go ciúin 'do laogh sa chuid,
Agus gheobhair féirín amárach.

T'á an samhradh'a teacht le grian is teas
Agus duillúir glas ar phrátaí.
Tá an ghaoth a' teacht go fial aneas
Agus gheobh'míd iasc amárach.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
For you are with me, you will comfort me,
you are with me, you will comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever,
for ever, for ever, for ever.

WORLD IN UNION
There's a dream I feel, So rare, so real;
All the world in union, The world as one.
Gathering together, One mind, one heart;
Ev'ry creed ev'ry colour, Once joined, never apart.
Searching for the best in me, I will find what I can be.
If I win, lose or draw, there's a winner in us all.

It's the world in union, The world as one.
As we climb to reach our destiny, A new age has begun.
We face high mountains, Must cross rough seas;
We must take our place in history And live with dignity.
Just to be the best I can, Sets the goal for ev'ry man.
If I win, lose or draw, it's a victory for all.

It's the world in union,The world as one.
As we climb to reach our destiny,
A new age has begun. (x2)

THE RHYTHM OF LIFE
When I started down the street last Sunday,
Feeling' mighty low and kind of mean,
Suddenly a voice said, 'Go forth, neighbour!
Spread the picture on a wider screen!'
And the voice said, 'Neighbour, there's a million reasons
Why you should be glad in all four seasons!
Hit the road, neighbour, leave your worries and strife!
Spread the religion of the rhythm of life.'

For the rhythm of life is a powerful beat,
Puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet!
Rhythm on the inside, rhythm on the street,
And the rhythm of life is a powerful beat!

Go and spread the gospel in Milwaukee;
Take a walkie talkie to Rocky Ridge!
All the way to Canton, then to Scranton,
Even tell it under the Manhattan Bridge.
You will make a new sensation,
Have a growing congregation,
Build a glowing operation here below!
Like a Pied Piper blowing,
Lead and keep the music flowing,
Keep the rhythm go, go going; go, go, go!
Flip your wings and fly up high!
Fly, Fly, fly up high!
You can do it if you try! Try, try, try to fly!
Like a bird up in the sky! Fly, fly, fly,
Doobi, doobi, doo!
O, the rhythm of life is a powerful beat,
Puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet!
Rhythm on the inside, rhythm on the street
And the rhythm of life is a powerful beat!
To feel the rhythm of life,
To feel the powerful beat,
To feel the tingle in your fingers,
To feel the tingle in your life!
Neighbour, you've got the rhythm of life.

MÁIRSEÁIL UÍ NÉILL
Ó a shean chlann Uí Néill Éirigh suas!
Nocht an faobhar!
Agus gluais le céimibh preasa liom i mbearna 'n bhaoil.
Féach an bhladhm ar bharr na mbeann loinir pící 'gus lann
'S ár mbráithre chughainn ag tarraingt ó na sléibhte arís.
Céim ar aghaidh! Tóg an liú! An dearg lámh abú,
Tá seolta na Spáinneach leis an ghaoth ar an chuan;
Bímís mear! Bímís tréan! Bímís bródúil asainn féin,
'S ní fada nó go bplaoscaimid ar ghleannta na Mumhan.

Tá an Mhumha mhéith ar lár, faoi Carew fear an bháis,
Le lasair gheal na gcoillte, tá an oíche 'na lá,
Is ar thailte leathain Laoghais. Tá an barr a leagadh síos,
Is a loisc ag díarmaí dearga an oilc is an smáil.
Ach! A! chlann ó mo chléibh. Tá an Spáinneach lenár dtaobh,
Is tá bua cloinne Domhnaill romhainn go glórach ag glaoch,
Thar an sliabh, thar an mhám, thar an abhainn
's bíodh sí lán,
Agus cloisfear píob an Ultaigh
thíos i lár chinéal Aodha.

BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the
coming of the Lord,
He is trampling out the vintage where the
grapes of wrath are stored.
He has loosed the fateful lightning of
His terrible swift sword,
His truth is marching on.

Chorus:
Glory glory Hallelujah! Glory glory Hallelujah!
Glory glory Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet
that shall never call retreat.
He is sifting out the hearts of men
before His judgement seat,
Oh be swift my soul to answer Him,
be jubilant my feet,
Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies,
Christ was borne across the sea.
With a glory in His bosom
that transfigures you and me.
As he died to make men holy,
let us live to men make free.
While God is marching on.

SIÚIL A RÚN
I wish I was on yonder hill.
'Tis there I'd sit and cry my fill.
And ev' ry tear would turn a mill.
Is go dtéigh tú mo mhúirnín slán.
Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún.
Siúil go socair agus siúil go ciúin.
Siúil go doras agus éalaigh liom.
Is go dtéigh tú mo mhúirnín slán.

I’ll sell my rock I'll sell my reel
I'll sell my only spinning wheel.
To buy my love a sword of steel.
Is go dteigh tú mo mhúirnín slán.
Siúil, siúil,……….
I wish I wish I wish in vain
I wish I had my heart again
And vanity think I’d not complain
Is go dtéigh tú mo mhúirnín slán.
Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún…….

But now my love has gone to France
To try his fortune to advance
If he e’er come back ‘tis but a chance.
Is go dtéigh tú momhúirnín slán.
Siúilsiúil, siúil a rún……….

THE HOLY CITY
Last night I lay asleeping,
There came a dream so fair,
I stood in old Jerusalem,
Beside the temple there.
I heard the children singing,
And ever as they sang,
Me thought the voice of Angels
From Heav'n in answer rang;
Me thought the voice of Angels
From Heav'n in answer rang.

"Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Lift up your gates and sing,
Hosanna in the highest,
Hosanna to your King!"

And then me thought my dream was chang'd, (Ah)
The streets no longer rang,
Hush'd were the glad Hosannas
The little children sang.
The sun grew dark with mystery,
The morn was cold and chill,
As the shadow of a cross arose
Upon a lonely hill,
As the shadow of a cross arose
Upon a lonely hill.

"Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Hark! how the Angels sing,
Hosanna in the highest,
Hosanna to your King!"

And once again the scene was chang'd, (Ah)
New earth there seem'd to be,
I saw the Holy City,
Beside the tideless sea;
The light of God was on its streets,
The gates were open wide,
And all who would might enter there
And noone was denied.
No need of moon or stars by night,
Or sun to shine by day,
It was the new Jerusalem
That would not pass away,
It was the new Jerusalem
That would not pass away.

"Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Sing, for the night is o'er,
Hosanna in the highest,
Hosanna for ever more,
Hosanna in the highest,
Hosanna for evermore."

SHEPHERD SONG
The Lord will be my shepherd,
there is nothing I shall need.
When I hunger, tired and weary,
to green pastures me He leads;
When my spirits fail
He brings me to the waters fresh and calm,
Loving shepherd, gentle master,
caring tender of His lamb.

As a shepherd knows the right path,
so He puts me on the way.
On the straight road safe and careless,
never chance that I will stray.
Should I walk in fields of darkness,
no evil would I fear.
With the crooks and staff
He comforts and His presence always near.

Surely goodness, surely kindness
shall ever follow me.
God, Provider, God, Protector,
shall always present be.
In His house I'll dwell for ever,
at His right hand I will stand.
Never stranger, always welcomed by
His loving, caring hand.

GLORIA!
Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Gloria in excelsis! Gloria in excelcel sis!
Gloria in excelsis! Gloria, Gloria Deo.

Domine Deus, Laudamus te. Domine Deus.
Gloria, gloria, Gloria in excelsis! Gloria in excelsis!

LIFT THINE EYES
Lift thine eyes, O lift thine eyes to the mountains,
Whence cometh, whence cometh, whence cometh help.
Thy help cometh from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.
He hath said, thy foot shall not be moved.
Thy keeper will never slumber, never, will never slumber, never slumber.

SEVENTY SIX TROMBONES
Seventy six trombones led the big parade
with a hundred and ten cornets close at hand
They were followed by rows and rows
of the finest virtuosos,
the cream of ev’ry famous band .

Seventy six trombones caught the morning sun
with a hundred and ten cornets right behind
There were more than a thousand reeds
springing up like weeds
there were horns of every shape and kind.
There were copper bottom tympanni in horse platoons,
thundering, thundering, all along the way.
Double bell euphoniums and big bassoons.
Each bassoon having his big fat say.
There were fifty mounted cannon in the battery,
thundering, thundering, louder than before.
Clarinets of ev'ry size
and trumpeters who'd improvise
a full octave higher than the score.

Seventy six trombones led the big parade
when the order to march rang out loud and clear.
Starting off with a big bang bong on a Chinese gong
by a big bang bonger at the rear.

Seventy Seventy six trombones hit the counter point
while a hundred and ten cornets played the air.
Then I modestly took my place
as the one and only bass
and I oompahedpahed up up and down the square.
Buhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuh …….

Seventy six trombones hit the counterpoint,
while a hundred and ten cornets played the air.
Then I modestly took my place as the one and only bass,
and I oompahed, oompahed, oompahed, pahed,
oompahedup and down the square.

Seventy square six trombones hit the counterpoint
While a hundred and ten cornets played the air.
Then I modestly took my place as the one and only bass
And I oompahed, oompahedoompahed, pahed.
Oompahed up and down the rear.

SOLDIERS’ CHORUS
Glory and praise to the men of old;
We will remember their deeds so bold!
Soldiers, we're ready to play our part;
A spring in our step, a spring in our step and
fire in our heart.

For the land that we love we would risk our all:
Death or glory we face at the trumpet's call.
When the cry is 'Advance' and the foe's in sight,
Together we'll stand, a sword in our hand, and ready to fight!

Glory and praise to the men of old;
We will remember their deeds so bold!
Soldiers, we're ready to play our part;
A spring in our step, and fire in our heart.
Now war is done,
We're on the way to see the loved ones left behind us;
Soon we'll be home,
So don't delay, no time to wait, we're on our way.
Then with open arms there'll be a welcome from the girls who come to find us;
We'll win their hearts as we recall,
As we recall the mighty battles that made heroes of us all;
We'll win their hearts,
We'll win their hearts as we recall the mighty battles that made heroes of us all.
We're on our way, so don't delay, we're on our way, we're on our way.

Glory and praise to the men of old;
We will remember their deeds so bold!
Soldiers, we're ready to play our part;
A spring in our step, and fire in our heart.

A spring in our step and fire in our heart,
A spring in our step, a spring in our step and fire in our heart!

THE POET SINGS
She's somewhere in the sunlight strong,
Her tears are in the falling rain,
She calls me in the wind's soft song,
And with the flowers she comes again.

The loneliness and misery,
Are silenced by a melody.

She's somewhere and I hear her sing,
Her words in timeless memory:
''Stay the course, light a star,
Change the world where' er you are.''

Somewhere the night wind carries her,
A silver moonbeam lights her way.
Antares is her messenger,
And every sun and moon her stay.

Dark voices from the shadows call,
But listen and her voice recall - Moriah!

She's somewhere and I hear her sing,
Her words in timeless memory:
''Stay the course, light a star,
Change the world where’er you are.''

THE FAIR, FAIR LAND
1.Land of grace and dignity,
This land who shapes our destiny:
No other land before thee,
No beauty can compare,
With the beauty rich and rare of the Fair, Fair Land;
No other land before thee,
No beauty can compare,
With the beauty rich and rare of the Fair Fair Land.

2.Land by harp and shamrock known,
Oh this land whose wild geese far have flown.
Though other lands they find fair,
This land they'll not forswear,
For their hearts rest ever here in the Fair Fair Land.
Though other lands they find fair,
This land they'll not forswear,
For their hearts rest ever here in the Fair Fair Land.

3.Soir 's siar, anoir 's aniar,
'S go mbeimid saor ar mhuir 's tír.
To ever walk in freedom,
No favour and no fear,
And to find a future fair in the Fair Fair Land.
To ever walk in freedom,
No favour and no fear,
And to find a future fair in the Fair Fair Land.

THE JOURNEY OF HOPE
As I look around and try to see a future and what I see keeps tumbling down.
If I take a look inside myself I wonder if who I am is who I could be
Now I see that the only way to change,
Is to take a stand and rise together in our hearts.

The journey of hope is calling me, the journey of hope will set me free,
It will carry us where we've never been.
The journey of hope is calling me. Yes! It is hope that will carry us through.

If we stand alone the journey will be longer as we dream of what could be
Now we see that we can live a dream together rising up, united we stand.
Now I see that the only way to change is to take a stand and rise together in our hearts.
The journey of hope is calling me the journey of hope will set me free,
It will carry us where we've never been.
The journey of hope is calling me. Yes! It is hope that will carry us through.

Hope is calling, hope will carry us, hope will take us where we've never been
Hope is calling, hope will carry us, hope will take us where we've never been.
The journey of hope is calling me, the journey of hope will set me free,
It will carry us where we've never been.
The journey of hope is calling me,Yes!It is hope that will carry us
The journey of hope is calling me the journey of hope will set me free,
It will carry us where we've never been,
The journey of hope is calling me,Yes! It is hope that is calling, hope that will listen,
Hope that will carry us through.
