Since coming back from our Christmas Holidays, we have been quite busy.
Here are just some of the things we have been up to ...

Catholic Schools Week:

30th January - 5th February was designated as Catholic Schools Week with the aim of encouraging us to focus on what is distinctive about us as a Catholic school. During that time, we looked at the lives of various people who used their talents to help those in need.

Our pupils learned about
St. John Bosco and his Irish counterpart, Edmund Rice who dedicated their lives to providing education for poor children. St. Brigid's Day and the Feast of St. Blaise were also celebrated and we reflected on how our grandparents have such a special place in all our lives.

Our mission as a school is to reflect that of Jesus Christ in building an environment of care and concern for others in a safe and happy school. We are a respectful and inclusive community welcoming children of all denominations and none. We recognise that our parents are the first teachers in faith and we work with our local parishes to develop that faith.

St. Cronan's Motto:

"At St. Cronan's,
everyone gets opportunities to succeed."

Bray Lakers Visit:

On Thursday 10th February, Bray Lakers visited one of the 5th classes in our school. Lakers Coach Graham Hillick along with Amy and Daniel visited Mr Ó Broin's 5th Class.

They shared their experiences of Special Olympics along with all the wonderful things that they do as members of Bray Lakers.
