Hallowe'en Party 2013

Archives > Parents' Association Archive > 2013-2014

On Friday 25th October, we had our Annual Halloween Party for 1st and 2nd classes and as always it was a huge success. It really has become one of the most popular, and nicest, Parents' Association events of the year.

The hall looked fantastic, all decorated, and it was an absolute joy to see the excited (and slightly worried in some cases) faces as the boys came in, all dressed up and ready to join in the fun and games.

This year we had a great selection of activities for them to enjoy, including the "hanging donuts", "gunge plunge", "memory game", the ever popular "pumpkin piñata" and a really fun obstacle course.

When they left a while later the faces were much less apprehensive, but much stickier and covered in sugar! They had a drink and a snack, had their faces or hands painted and left clutching goodie bags and handfuls of sweets and treats stored in masks and pockets. It's true to say a great day was had by all!

As always, a huge word of thanks to our wonderful team of volunteer parents who decorated the hall and manned the activity stations so well. This year's team of helpers was just as good as ever! We couldn't have done it without you all!
